As previously advised, following a public notification period, the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning has issued a planning permit for the project under delegation from the Minister for Planning.

While some preliminary works have already commenced in mid-December, mobilization to site is expected to start from 4 January 2021.

The minor road upgrade works at the cross section of Atkinsons Road and Geelong-Ballan Road which are now expected to commence around 06 January 2021. Construction works are expected to ramp up on site in middle-to-late January 2021 and we estimate that they will last approximately 5-6 months.
