The Independent Report into the fire that took place at the Victorian Big Battery on 30 July 2021 was released today.

The report was prepared by Fisher Engineering Inc (FEI) and Energy Safety Response Group (ESRG), two independent engineering and energy storage fire safety consulting firms.

This report summarizes the event and the subsequent investigations and analyses. It also provides a summary of lessons learned from the fire and highlights the procedural, software and hardware changes that have been implemented in response.
