Neoen to hand over Victorian portfolio to HMC Capital
We will hand over our 2.8 GW development pipeline and 652 MW operating asset portfolio in Victoria to leading Australian asset management company, HMC Capital (ASX: HMC). This transaction is valued at A$950 million and includes:
- Bulgana Green Power Hub
- Numurkah Solar Farm
- Victorian Big Battery
- Kentbruck Green Power Hub
- Kentbruck Battery
- Bulgana Battery Extension
- Moorabool Battery
- Navarre Green Power Hub
- Loy Yang Wind Farm.
This change in ownership is part of the commitments made by Brookfield to obtain regulatory approval from Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). It was an essential step for Brookfield to acquire majority stake in Neoen from Impala and other Neoen shareholders. Read the history here.
